About Innovation Wireless
Every industry or organisation needs to know the time for a whole variety of reasons. Where multiple people congregate in their day to day business or where processes are time related there is often confusion, or even worse, when clocks or predetermined time signals (bells, buzzers etc.) are uncoordinated and inaccurate.
Until recently, clocks have fallen into two categories – standard battery operated independent clocks and MSF radio clocks that are controlled by a remote radio signal.
Standard battery clocks are inherently and notoriously inaccurate, cannot be coordinated or synchronised with others and require maintenance at least twice yearly.
When using radio controlled or so-called MSF or ‘Rugby’ clocks, the reception of a radio signal can be affected by various factors such as weather conditions, building materials, local environment etc and this affects the reliability and accuracy of the clocks. Users are not always aware of this and have to rely on feedback from customers or colleagues to correct any issues.
Neither of these scenarios provide a reliable, accurate or synchronised solution nor are they capable of providing a platform for wireless messaging or the initiation of predetermined announcements or bells, buzzers etc
Therefore many of our customers began to question the reliability of their clocks and concluded that, ideally, what they would like to do is to unify the clock system they use to cover their entire site. They conducted in-depth research over several years of what alternatives existed and eventually became aware of one possibility used by Schools, Universities, Healthcare, Government and Businesses in America.
